Formula Student AI is part of the annual international Formula Student UK competition run by IMechE. In FSAI, teams design and develop autonomous driving systems to compete on various tracks at Silverstone.
The Notion page linked below has more info for those that want to learn more:
We are the team representing UoB at the FSAI competition. We are new to the competition and are competing in FSAI 2025.
Our goal is to provide a platform for students from Engineering and Computer Science to work with machine learning and robotics systems, and to make the competition free and accessible to everyone regardless of backgrounds. We don’t charge a membership fee.
This project is supported by the School of Computer Science.

Our goal is to make this project as inclusive as possible, while developing a strong core team to carry the project forward to competition. This means that it’s free to join and there are no prerequisites for joining the team — we’re planning training and support for those less experienced in ROS and machine learning, and roadmaps for developing our core simulation for more experienced members.
