What is Bristol FSAI?

We are the team representing UoB at the FSAI competition. We are new to the competition and are competing in FSAI 2025.

Our goal is to provide a platform for students from Engineering and Computer Science to work with machine learning and robotics systems, and to make the competition free and accessible to everyone regardless of backgrounds. We don’t charge a membership fee.

This project is supported by the School of Computer Science.

If you are interested in signing up, make sure you SIGN UP HERE.

Why should I sign up?

Our goal is to make this project as inclusive as possible, while developing a strong core team to carry the project forward to competition. This means that it’s free to join and there are no prerequisites for joining the team — we’re planning training and support for those less experienced in ROS and machine learning, and roadmaps for developing our core simulation for more experienced members.

If you’re interested in any of the following, then you should consider signing up:

  1. Practical experience in robotics, machine learning, engineering, or autonomous racing
  2. Experience working in a large team on a complex technical project
  3. Applying course knowledge
  4. Developing new skills, learning something new
  5. Meet-ups and socials with the team
  6. Networking with people who are likely to pursue careers in something you’re also interested in
